​Sunday13th of February: Day 1 We arrived in Spain at around 11:15, a bus collected us from the airport and brought us to the main office where we met with Ricardo and got the details of our work placements. We then got taxis to our apartments. We left our bags into the apartment and Niamh and I went for lunch at a little restaurant right beside where we are staying. Later that evening we went for a walk around and seen the beautiful lights at the square which is just a minutes walk from our apartment. Monday 14th of February: Day 2 I had the day off work so spent the morning exploring Malaga. I got breakfast at a little café. The pan au chocolates are so nice over here. I walked through the different streets and found a churro place. We had a walking tour at 4 which me and Niamh got lost on the way to but we made it. We seen the Main Street of Malaga and the cathedral and the tour guide recommended a lovely ice cream parlour. Later that evening we went to a restaurant called ‘Las Gato...

Bienvenido amigo! An Overview. My name is Sebastian (that's me on the far left in all black), and I am currently studying  at BIFE. Advanced business management (level 6)  to be  exact. I have a love for art forms, and editing  this  during the time in Malaga, I can assure you,  there  is no shortage of art here, in all different forms. I also love the gym, it is my escape, and even being in Malaga, you best know I found one as soon as I could! Being here has opened my eyes more than I would have ever expected. Coming from South Africa, my horizons were always pretty short sighted, now with opportunities like these, I can finally see, and experience things that were only always dreams to me. Hi there my name is Cathal Ryan and I attend BIFE, I am currently doing the Bar & Restaurant management course, I was lucky to be selected to go on this years Erasmus+ programme in Malaga Spain this blog is here to give people an insight on the overall experience and what you could hopefully expect if you too were also selected.  When I was first told I had received a place on this placement I was excited and apprehensive at the same time I had never been out of Ireland for more than ten days or two weeks so hearing three weeks in a non english speaking country was a bit daunting especially when youre going there to work, but it went very smoothly. BIFE had organised weekly spanish classes with Martina who was great she was very friendly and clearly had a passion for wanting to teach spanish, on top of that there was online spanish classes that you could do anytime anywhere which again definitely made things alot easier and helped with the movement. 13th/14th February When I fi...
