Hi my names Becky. I am a senior hairstylist in Bray Institute Of Education. I live in wicklow and I am 28 years old. 

How I prepared for this mobility was to try study as much Spanish as I could. I also looked up phrases and word to do with hairdressing which should help me with my placement!😊

we arrived on the 13th of February to the lovely sunny Malage. The sunny weather was a welcome sight ! We arrived at our accommodation in the middle of the center. Our accommodation is amazing we have a lovely apartment with a kitchen. We are in short walking distance to all the shops and the center so we could not be happier! Fernando who was in charge of our accommodation was so helpful!😊
We felt so welcome arriving in malaga! The mobility has been amazing so far down to the company, work, weather and company ☀️🙂. 

We went on monday the 14th to introduce ourselves to the people we would be working with. They where so friendly and nice. The salon I am in is quite enough but I am learning so much. I am learning different techniques and styles to advance my hairdressing.  The salon owner has a schedule laid out for me to teach me new things everyday which is amazing as I am getting one to one staring which in my opinion is priceless! We have some communication problem but that's where google translate comes in handy 😂😂 she is a lovely women and we have an amazing time together . 😊 I am having an amazing time so far and I will learn and see so much more and cannot wait!
I learned so much on my trip and enjoyed every second of it. The hair salon I worked in was amazing and the ✂️ stylist Irene was so nice and helpful we both said we would keep in contact in the future.I would highly recommend for students to apply ! It's a trip of a lifetime!
I feel more confident  in being a hairdresser and have learnt all new diffrent styles and techniques to bring back to ireland. The group we went with where amazing and everyone got along and supported each other which was amazing and made it much more of an enjoyable trip. The organisers where very helpful and friendly as well. I am sad it is over but will have the memories forever. I would highly recommend to everyone ✈🍾😊.

Preparation For Erasmus In preparation for this trip I went to Spanish classes in the college along with practicing Spanish in my free time.  I studied Spanish in secondary school for 5 years which has enabled me to have a basic understanding of the language and speak to the locals.  Malaga I’m staying in an apartment with Christina and we’re an 8 minute walk from the main street. We both have a room to ourselves and the flat has two bathrooms. We don’t have an oven so we have been going out for food rather than cooking at home. We also have realised it’s cheaper to eat out than it is to cook at home! For breakfast most mornings i have been getting a sandwich with jamón along with an espresso which costs only around €3.50! Bienvenido amigo! An Overview. My name is Sebastian (that's me on the far left in all black), and I am currently studying  at BIFE. Advanced business management (level 6)  to be  exact. I have a love for art forms, and editing  this  during the time in Malaga, I can assure you,  there  is no shortage of art here, in all different forms. I also love the gym, it is my escape, and even being in Malaga, you best know I found one as soon as I could! Being here has opened my eyes more than I would have ever expected. Coming from South Africa, my horizons were always pretty short sighted, now with opportunities like these, I can finally see, and experience things that were only always dreams to me. This group, is nothing but perfect. The banter, the friendships being built, the experiences shared. I could not have asked for anyone better to have gone on this mobility with. A Warm Welcome! Millie in Malaga

​Sunday13th of February: Day 1 We arrived in Spain at around 11:15, a bus collected us from the airport and brought us to the main office where we met with Ricardo and got the details of our work placements. We then got taxis to our apartments. We left our bags into the apartment and Niamh and I went for lunch at a little restaurant right beside where we are staying. Later that evening we went for a walk around and seen the beautiful lights at the square which is just a minutes walk from our apartment. Monday 14th of February: Day 2 I had the day off work so spent the morning exploring Malaga. I got breakfast at a little café. The pan au chocolates are so nice over here. I walked through the different streets and found a churro place. We had a walking tour at 4 which me and Niamh got lost on the way to but we made it. We seen the Main Street of Malaga and the cathedral and the tour guide recommended a lovely ice cream parlour. Later that evening we went to a restaurant called ‘Las Gato
